New York – The city that never sleeps

New York is located on the east coast of the United States in the northeast of the country. The city center is built on Manhattan Island at the mouth of the Hudson River in the Atlantic Ocean. New York is the most populous city in the United States and one of the most densely populated urban settlements in the world. It consists of 5 large counties – Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island – which were united in a single city in 1898. Each of them is a separate county.
